As a part of mail migration, I exported my mailbox as a structured mail (First option "Export Account") and this option created a good enough sized backup, but it has no extension, but does have folder structure like Inbox, Sent and other folders.
Now I wish to import to another Thunderbird installation where I have the exported backup, but the Import option is greyed out. Tried reinstalling the plugin, restarting Thunderbird and my Macbook too
Not sure if I'm doing something wrong, if so please guide me

You can't import mbox files (from your export) directly to an IMAP account. This would not be compatible with how Thunderbird works.
You need to import to a folder under local folders. You can then copy into the imap folders. Note that servers will typically limit the transfers so you will probably have to do this incrementally. @cleidigh
Thank you for your reply, but even that's not working.
The image shows my mail backup and I've also tried by creating a new local folder and trying to import this, but but thunderbird says it failed. I had exported using the option "Structured with Subfolders"
