Boots uses the lease expiry defined on hardware resources when serving DHCPOFFERs. It would be useful to provide an option on launch to set a minimum bound boots uses for lease expiry and possible default to something sensible like 30m so as to avoid misconfiguration on hardware resource lease expiry.
