Hello, I was hoping I could get some clarification on the installation instructions. I pulled down gala and cloned this project into the plugins folder, but I am not sure what Makefile.am I am supposed to symlink.
I assume it is not the Makefile.am in the main gala folder? ln -s Makefile.am plugins/gala-alternate-alt-tab/Makefile.am
Also, could anyone clarify what this step means?
Last thing you will need to install the schema file. You can just symlink the file and run glib-compile-schemas.
I am not familiar with schema files.
Any help is appreciated, thanks!

@groovenectar I was never able to figure this one out in particular. However, I found another approach to reducing the jarring effect of alt-tabbing in elementary.
I just want to get it like other alt-tabs that list all the windows/icons, etc at once, and cycles that way. Really hard to use it as it is now. I found out about Super+W that displays all the windows at once. But It requires another click or possibly other keystrokes to actually select one.
So that is the appeal of this patch for me...
