Suggestion: sword mods to use

if the sword feature will be removed soon are there any mods that do the same thing? i really like the not enough animations one cuz its:

unique
also could you take the code for it and make it a seprate mod you dont have to but it would be appreciated by the community

Possible, but for now not looking forward to creating and supporting yet another mod. Maybe sometime later/when it gets fully removed from the mod.

Chipping in a bit late but this would be highly appreciated as AFAIK there is no other mod that does does the same thing so minimally.
There is this, however I really don't like how it only works if you keep you sword in a certain slot and that you can't change what slot. I really like the implementation in this mod for its simplicity.
