From Hiromasa Takemura (https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4830295/) : Calculate each fiber's direction in the white matter portion between 2 waypoint ROIs and removed fibers whose direction deviated more than 2 SD from the mean direction

This would be useful for the VOF
