Special Systems (특별 시스템)

Level Difference System (레벨 차 시스템)

In Ragnarok Zero, there is a difference in experience and drop rate depending on the level difference between the monster and the character.

Experience amount obtained (경험치 획득량)

Level difference (레벨 차이) Reduction (추가/감소량)
~ -10 No penalty
-15 ~ -11 10% reduction
-20 ~ -16 30% reduction
-25 ~ -21 50% reduction
-30 ~ -26 70% reduction
~ -31 90% reduction

Drop rate reduction (드랍률 감소량)

Size system (크기 시스템)

In Ragnarok Zero, there is a difference in the damage that can be inflicted by the size of the monster depending on the equipped weapon type.

Race system (종족 시스템)

Ragnarok Zero has various races, so you have to use equipment that is strong against the major race you are dealing with.

  • Demi-human (인간형)
  • Demon (악마형)
  • Brute (동물형)
  • Insect (곤충형)
  • Fish (어류형)
  • Dragon (용족)
  • Angel (천사형)
  • Formless (무형)
  • Undead (불사형)
  • Plant (식물형)

Property system (속성 시스템)

If you know the property, victory is yours! Knowing the properties of monsters and attacking them with mutual attributes can provide increased damage to monsters.

What is an attribute system?

Ragnarok Zero has 10 properties:

  • Neutral (무)
  • Water (수)
  • Earth (지)
  • Fire (화)
  • Wind (풍)
  • Poison (독)
  • Holy (성)
  • Shadow/dark (암)
  • Ghost (염)
  • Undead (불사)

Ten types of properties are mutually related, strong against crtain properties, and weak against others. Knowing these strengths and weaknesses can help you choose the proper weapons and armor.

How to view the property table!

There is no separate attribute level for the attacking property, but monsters can have 1 - 4 levels of a specific property.

Features of the undead (불사 속성의 특징)

  1. Not knocked back by fire.
  2. Do not get petrified or frozen.
  3. "It does not recover to recovery skill, and it inflicts damage on enemy recovery skill." (Need better translation of: 회복 스킬로 회복되지 않으며, 적의 회복 스킬에 피해를 입는다.)
  4. Turn Undead skills kill instantly.
  5. After death, you can not resurrect with Yggdrasil leaves.
