We are looking at enabling a ros explore package for turtlebot and are wondering if a) there are currently any plans to add this functionality, b) if anyone else has looked into doing this, and c) if there are any reasons why existing explore packages might be incompatible with the turtlebot?

I would expect that most existing explore packages that use relatively standard navigation stack configurations should also be able to be used with the TurtleBot. I would expect that to set things up conveniently a package that depends on the appropriate turtlebot navigation packages as well as the exploration implementation and provides the necessary configuration via launch files would be adaquate to show off exploration on a turtlebot.
