Packaging and community repos - YUM / APT #9
Comments
This is awesome! I saw the tag flying by the other day and was thinking to ping about packaging. Good to see that the packages are already coming! |
Debian packaging in progress ☺. |
Hey, could we get a versioned release some time soon, so I can complete the initial packaging :)? -nik |
I've published 1.0.1 release, which should fix all the reported issues and allow packaging. |
@Natureshadow Is the version 1.0.1 working OK with the packaging? |
tdigest has been accepted into the unstable distribution of Debian main, and has been available on apt.postgresql.org for about a wewk now. |
Cool, thank you! |
Thanks for reminding me! I've tagged 1.2.0, and I'll ping the YUM/APT
packaging people.

I've finally got to look at the packaging. I've tagged v1.0.0, pinged Devrim who's responsible for community RPM repos, and since Friday we seem to have RPM packages for all distros supported by the community repos. Details here:
https://redmine.postgresql.org/issues/5723
I've created a similar request for the APT repository, so we should have debian packages soon:
