sbt-Error when not checking out with git

Hi,

when the code is checked out of the repository by subversion or downloaded as archive file the building process fails with the messsage:
Setting value cannot be null: {file:/somepath/summingbird-0.4.1/}/*:gitCurrentBranch
Don't know if this is expected behaviour, but thought I'd report it to you guys.

Can you share steps to reproduce this if it is still a problem?

I actually didn't even know you could checkout the repo with subversion.
