Hi Ulrik,

Thanks so much for such a great resource! I've been tweaking the template for my PhD but I'm coming up on issues with pandoc-citeproc not recognising my references (e.g., [WARNING] Citeproc: citation XYZ not found). I tried debugging with all of the prompts on StackOverflow and Github but the issue still hasn't resolved.

A couple of things to flag:

  • The citation identifier keys are correct and there's no duplicates.
  • I tried swapping to Biblatex (but there was an issue with the biber/biblatex compatibility) and natbib as well, but the citations displayed as (?, p. x) in the pdf.
  • I re-installed pandoc, RStudio, RMarkdown, and a bunch of other packages but the issue still persists.
  • I added my Zotero library export to the bibliography folder, and it's referenced in my document so it's not an issue of forgetting to load the library!

It's an issue in the Index file. I'm able to insert the bibliography and citations in stand-alone chapters by amending the YAML section.

Any idea what might be the problem?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Does this issue come up for you before you tweak the template, i.e. with a fresh copy of oxforddown, or is it an issue that's introduced by the changes you've made to the template?

Can you give me a minimal reproducible example of the problem?

How can I modify the font of the pdf document to Times New Roman and spare of 1.5? The one I have I think it is double space.
