Authorize payment and redirect

I wonder if there's a way to authorize and redirect to payment method without BeginPaymentFormAsync()?

I a specific project migrated from UCommerce it has a single payment method set in checkout (no selection in UI) and the following:

var payment = TransactionLibrary.CreatePayment(paymentMethodId, amount, requestPayment, overwriteExisting);
var url = TransactionLibrary.GetPaymentPageUrl(payment);
return Json(new { success = true, redirectUrl = url });

I could find this:

and tried order.InitializeTransaction(); which return an Order enitity.

Finalize() seems to have changed since as a transactionId need to be passed in.

So if I set default payment method on country or via code, is there anyway to redirect directly without an additional step?
