Let's discuss the possible ways to improve the functionality of File Explorer menus.
Many people use File Explorer with the Command Bar hidden (even Valentin himself does so, I think). But with the Command Bar hidden, there is no way to toggle the navigation pane (tree view) other than via registry. There is even no shortcut, about which fact there are multiple rants in the Internet on many forums. Toggling the preview pane and other options from the Command Bar layout button also can be complicated. So, maybe the checkbox items in the "View" pull-down menus could solve this inconvenience?
The "Go" sub-menu was located as a separate pull-down menu next to "View" in Windows 95 and Windows 98. It was moved into "View" later. If someone does not use the toolbars, having options "back", "forward" and "up" can be more convenient in a separate pull-down "Go" rather than under "View->Go".
When the Command bar is disabled, there is no way to set the icon size to 32px (other than via registry), which was the default before Vista, and so many icons are displayed wrongly in other sizes. Could it be possible to add a separate icon size "32 px" along the "Small", "Medium", "Big", etc? I think, this would not need a translation. Just "32 px".
