My system (T480, Mac Os Monterey 12.7, EFI 1.3.0.) was plagued with inconsistent power cycles (not shutting down properly, rebooting with errors etc...). Following Dortania's OC post install guide it could be related to USB mapping.
I went the USBToolbox route, generating a new UTBMap.kext in Windows and removing stock USB kext.
The system is stable now.
