Unable to reset cell

Hello guys,

Someone could tell me if there is function that resets a single cell? I couldn't find any. The problem is that I have a column that only accepts numbers. When a cell from that column isn't valid, I set its value to null in the renderer function. As null isn't a number, the cell is rendered again saying that the cell isn't valid. Is there a way to reset the cell?
