I am currently running Fedora Silverblue and every time Variety starts it creates a new application file at ~/.local/share/applications/variety-variety-0f83af4f4a.desktop. This was not a problem on regular Fedora so I suspect this is tied to the immutable system.
If this is fixable long term that would be excellent but in the short term it would be nice to add a toggle that tells variety not to create the application file.
