how to manually adding Items with specific indexing

Thank you for this fantastic package!

While I'm currently using it to fetch items from the internet, I'd like to add a feature where users can manually add items to the list. Additionally, I want to specify whether the new items should appear at the beginning or the end of the list. How can I seamlessly integrate this functionality so that manually added items are displayed alongside the fetched ones?
