When the filament runout sensor is triggered during a print the printer will pause.
All good here, except that it seems after some time the steppers will get disabled (I only noticed the printer had paused after 15-30 minutes).
With the steppers disabled you're pretty much guaranteed to shift the print head when you reload filament. When resuming the printer however continues straight away as if nothing happened.
I suggest either not disabling steppers (enough on the R2, it's pretty much impossible to move the head by forcing when steppers are energized), or rehoming before resuming (which I did manually by repausing after noticing the shift, sending a G29 from Octoprint's terminal, then resuming).
