What the fuck?
I don't know what to say.
What is wrong with you?
You could atleast backup the scripts before deleting.
A warning after it has already happened is worth nothing.
This is really bad.

Apparently several people lost blocks and making them reappear is all messed up. See https://www.reddit.com/r/i3wm/comments/d2mmec/i3blocks_missing_blocks_reestablished_blocks_are/, https://www.reddit.com/r/i3wm/comments/d1bwcc/i3gaps_i3blocks_internet_and_battery_blocks/.

The 1.4 release used to contain blocklets, 1.5 doesn't. Just fetch from here the ones you need.

Pacman did not remove custom scripts, just the ones from 1.4 release, some were incompatible with the new version anyway.

For those of you who really need the old ones:

tar -xf /var/cache/pacman/pkg/i3blocks<something>pkg.tar.gz -C / usr/lib/i3blocks

replace '<something>' with whatever there is, use autocomplete and mind what you're doing.
