There is nothing preventing two agents from assigning themselves identical display names by accident, or even intentionally as a spoofing exercise.
Now, the authentication ceremony should help disambiguate at least one of the physical devices, but we may need to add some guidance in the spec to flag cases where there are name conflicts after the ceremony is complete.
Another option would be to force uniqueness of display names / DNS-SD instance names in a similar manner to the certificate hostnames.
