Hi, probably mirroring from a virtual screen is slow in this architecture. The app is mostly tested and optimized for M1 which is basically doing hardware mirroring for virtual displays. The speed difference was obvious compared to a 2018 Intel Mini I was testing as well. |

I know it's probably related to my MacBook just being old and CPU being slow, but applying a 2304x1296 resolution to my monitor (plugged into RX 5700 XT) makes the computer very laggy, scrolling thru pages in Launchpad looks like it's at maybe 30 FPS if not lower, and Minecraft running at 2304x1296 got me an average of 30 with dips to low as 10 FPS. Normally I can run Minecraft at over 100 FPS in 1080p, and even then it's purely CPU bottlenecked. Dragging a Safari window around as well is pretty slow.
