Display is 2560x1600, but a 16:10 BetterDummy display defaults to 2304x1440.

Thanks much for this tool! I'm trying to use this with an Arzopa 2560x1600 display. In short, I can't get it to use a proper 16:10 resolution and it always defaults to 2304x1140, even after I try changing it to 2560x1600 or 1280x800. How can I best help troubleshoot this issue?

EDIT: Further confounding the issue, most non-2560x1600 resolutions including 2304x1140 have the display choosing 1280x1024.

I don't know why OP disappeared on this, but I'm happy to pick it back up. I have these same issues using an M1 Macbook Air 2020, connecting to this same display via built-in USB-C. Once the resolution for the dummy is set to match the display's native resolution (2560 x 1600), the only lower, scaled resolutions listed in System Preferences for the non-dummy display are 16:9 (except for the highest listed resolution, which matches the display's native 2560 x 1600).

Hi @barsaati - take a look at #735 for more info about this. The native resolution is almost always available only as LoDPI even if other limits are not reached - for HiDPI you can use for example 99% of the native resolution in case of native smooth scaling (which will still be ample supersampling and GUI size is minimally affected). Dummies do not have this limitation.
