Blurred content on 38 inch monitor

Thanks for this workaround.
I have a ViewSonic VP3881 3840x1600, I created dummy with 24:10 ratio, and when I'm setting custom resolution content is blurry

Hey @Tkko - I do not know what kind of blurry it is (there is legit blurriness or extra blurriness due to various issues that can be fixed), but these low pixel density displays (this resolution in a 38" size is only 110 PPI) especially if the display is close to your eyes will sadly look rather blurry in macOS, no matter what.

The default resolution is fine. I see blurred content only on custom resolution.

A photo might be useful to understand the problem better. The non-default resolutions are all scaled resolutions which involves some "antialiasing effect" by nature. This creates a subtle blurrines which is normal but your issue might be different. For scaled hidpi resolutions to work well and make sense, you need a certain PPI, but if your target hidpi resolution is actually lower than the standard resolution of the display, things should not be blurry.

It's really hard for the phone to capture the difference, but in all cases the default resolution (3840x1600) is slightly sharper than custom ones even the 2400x1000

Well, to be honest, I have no idea what could be wrong :) I am unsure about the issue as I don't see the screen and do not know what is happening. Is this on M1?
