Issues with Xiaomi 30" M1 Pro

Hello

. I have a Xiaomi Curved Gaming Monitor 30" RMMNT30HFCW with a resolution of 2560x1080 and a MacBook Pro M1 14-inch, running macOS Sonoma 14.5. The fonts look acceptable only at a resolution of 1920x810. However, if I set the resolution to 2560x1080, everything becomes blurry. How can I solve this problem? I would be very grateful.

Hi there - I recommend enabling Flexible scaling in the app and see if there is any other resolution that looks nice. Generally with HiDPI resolutions the extra clarity will appear only if you have some room for it. This display has a really low pixel density (PPI) so even though it is great for gaming, it is not really well suited for productivity use on a Mac (Windows has subpixel rendering which can help a bit with low resolution displays, macOS does not have this feature).
