I've just got to upgrade my machine to Sequoia Beta, and the windowserver keeped crashing on betterdisplay start until I removed the virtual display (9:9). I added a same virtual display and the windowserver crashed again. This virtual display worked well when I was using MacOS Sonoma (Beta) 14.6 and before, could you please help me troubleshooting where the problem is?
Here is the System Report on WindowServer crash that may help you find out the problem:

Windowserver can and does crash for a myriad of unknown reasons in all versions of macOS. The crash logs are generally uninformative to anyone outside of Apple. Virtual Screens generally work fine with Sequoia (including the latest betas) so the issue is I think just a typical windowserver issue that happens from time to time. You should follow the exhaustive reset protocol which involves resetting the windowserver configuration and try creating a new virtual screen. https://github.com/waydabber/BetterDisplay/wiki/Safe-mode,-app-reset,-app-removal#exhaustive-reset |

Ok, the problem seems to be the too large number of resolutions. You should increase the resolution step multiplier for the custom generated square aspect ratio virtual screen. |
