How to purge disconnected display from settings? #3283

Hi there,

just click Forget Display under the display's General Settings/Additional settings… section.

MacOS also stores these display entries until a certain point with specific unique identifiers. The app remembers them as well in case they get reconnected. But it's not essential, so you can make them forget if it bothers you.

You can also change how long these displays are remembered:
