My monitor, the Viotek GNV29CB, has working DDC Volume Controls in MonitorControl on this same Mac and on both Windows and Linux on another machine when hooked up via the exact same cord but BetterDisplay says it’s “unsupported” |

Well, it might still work, despite the capabilities report saying otherwise - due to some firmware issue in the monitor or wrong coding (most DDC apps don't actually check/care about the capabilities string). You can simply enable the volume control feature then under |
