Based on this Reddit post, I got BetterDisplay for my new m4 mini. BetterDisplay has been updated since that post so I cannot follow it exactly. I am trying to get my 4k monitor to look sharp with the resolution as close to 3840x2160 (the native resolution) as possible. I tried using virtual screen but that didn't seem to make a difference. One of my monitors shows a 3072x1727 option in the MacOS display settings that looks pretty good and is considered HiDPI in BD, However, I dont see the same on the other monitor (they are exactly the same except the working one is connected to the mini via HDMI adapter to USBC while the ugly one is straight HDMI). So, how can I get 3072x1727 as HiDPI on both monitors AND are there any resolutions closer to 3840x2160 that will look as good?
Thanks
