Hi there, what do you mean the external display stays on? Does it show a blank image? If so, then you might be experiencing a macOS bug related to mirrored virtual screen - if this is how you created the 1080p resolution. Instead of virtual screen mirroring you should use flexible scaling (or create a custom resolution), that should give you the same HiDPI 1080p resolution but without the problems. |

It stays on meaning that it will show the last image(lock screen) before the Mac goes to sleep. I can confirm this because I see that the clock displayed on the screen is not up to date. How should I configure flexible scaling? I need to buy pro version for this feature? |

Hi! I have an MacBook Pro with M3 and DELL external screen with 2 k resolution. I installed this app to be able to downscale to 1080ish without blurring the image and it worked but now I have an issue.
After I lock my Mac and the Mac screen goes off, the external display stays on(this doesn't bother me) and when I sign in/unlock my mac all my apps are moved to the external display in one space(in simple terms I loose my work layout).
My usual work layout is: my main display is the external one where I have 3 desktops and on my mac display I have only one desktop. On all these desktops I have different apps. As I stated before when I login again all my apps are moved to only one desktop :( . Am I missing some settings from the app?
