Blurred text on Acer G245HQL extended display

Hi,
I am using the M1 MacBook Pro and have the Acer G245HQL monitor as an extended display. The BetterDummy does seem to improve the quality which is immediately noticeable on the wallpaper. However, the text clarity (MS word, excel) is still not as good. It is a bit blurry I would say. I am actually using the Apple's USB-C to vgi dongle to connect the display. Do you think it could improve if I use HDMI cable? I have dvi port on the monitor. Do you suggest using dvi to HDMI connection? Thank you.

Hi, word clarity will not be great on a Full HD display as macOS does not use subpixel rendering in any form (unlike Windows). Changing the cable will not help, so I do not recommend changing it for this reason. Hope this helps!
