I got a scenario where I'm not allowed to install apps on an Android phone. But there's a recent Firefox and Chrome. so I'd like to use Wire-WebApp.
If I set the Browser to Desktop Mode I can login to https://app.wire.com/
But after a successfull login the webapp doesn't load. Instead I'm redirected to the login screen again :-/
What is the expected behaviour?
App should open.
Which browser are you using?
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:108.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/108.0
The behavior seems more like a technical error rather then a deliberate decision. But I'm not sure whats going wrong. As said, the user Agent is set to Desktop. So the browser should be indistinguishable from a Desktop browser.
(tested Firefox and Chrome)
It looks like the Wire-WebApp has got a pretty nice responsive behavior. If I resize the browser window on my Desktop to a small size, I get a pretty nice layout by the Wire-WebApp, which should be totally fine to use on a mobile device. So I don't see a reason to continue deny the webapp on mobile devices. (it's actually still "denied" if the user agent isn't switched to desktop)
@fdelapuente
Have you been able to use Wire-WebApp in a mobile browser after #217 ?

I also tried User-Agent Switcher via Expanded extension support in Firefox for Android Nightly (collection: kolAflash-FF-Android-Custom). But setting to "Windows / Firefox 83" or "Windows / Chrome 87" didn't help either.
