This won't really be useful currently, but with an unknown / dynamic type, this will be very useful.

At least for unknown, could just do a runtime is_valid check for the target casting type, and get it as that type.

For everything else it'll be a per-case basis, I guess number to string casting could be valid but not sure how I feel about it.
