******************************************
* 1.- scientific summary of the project: *
******************************************
The goal of this project is to map 12CO (2-1), 13CO (2-1) and C18O (2-1) line emission in the M16 cloud with the IRAM-30m.

We use the EMIR receivers together with the FTS200 backend. The line is observed in E230 band mode.

We use the OTF PSW observing mode to cover a region of ~ 15' x 20'. The target sensitivity is 275 mK per 0.25 km s-1 channel, which should be reached in ~15 hours of telescope time, assuming average winter conditions (4.0 mm of PWV).

******************************************
*    2.- Summary of the observations:    *
******************************************

! Make the OTF map

! We map a region of 900 x 1200".
!At the 12CO (2-1) frequency, the telescope EMIR is about 10.67",
!so we have 2.4 points/beam.
!The scan speed is 14"/sec and the data sample is 0.25 s, i.e. one spectra every 3.5".
!We observe the reference position for 10 s every 2 scans.
!We make a first sub-map along the RA direction, make a
! calibration, and then a second sub-map along the Dec direction.

! We would like to observe 12co(2-1), 13co(2-1), and c18o(2-1) simultaneously

Source Observed once ? Observed twice ? (Mark a X)
