Buttons and other text missing from Pattypan that get fixed by making fullscreen or reducing window size

I'm getting some very strange behaviour in PattyPan where buttons, text or everything is missing from the page which can be fixed if I make it fullscreen, or if it is in fullscreen making it smaller. See screenshots for examples. The third blank screenshot is the username log in screen.

That is odd, could you share the error log(should be a link to the file on the first screen)? Alternatively starting it from the command line java -jar pattypan.jar and share the output.

Hmmm I get this

Unrecognized option: --jar

Is it because I'm on Windows?

@mrjohnc Do you happen to have a 4K screen or custom screen zoom?

Yes I think its 4K, display settings says it 3840x2400, no screen zoom or anythig like that. Just standard Windows laptop I bought recently

I have now been able to reproduce this by using a 4k screen. For me, any window size changes resolve the problem for the current screen.
