Q: Do I have to use Oculus' Link cable? A: No, any cable that supports USBC to USB 3.0/2.0 will work. I use this cable https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MZIPYPY/
Q: Can't I just use the Charging Cable that came with the Quest? A: YES, but you may experience issues. Oculus Quest released the Link to work with USB 2.0, when testing it, I found no noticeable difference between 2.0 and 3.0.
