1. INTRODUCTION

RTAPrototype2-Setup installs the 2nd Real-time Analysis Prototype for the CTA Observatory.

The submodules are free software, released under the GNU GPL 2. See the LICENSE file present within the submodules.

2. QUICK START

In order to download the submodules required for the installation process you need to run:

    git submodule update --init

3. REQUIREMENTS

Basic requirements:
    - cfitsio-devel
    - zeromq3-devel

4. COMPILATION / SETUP

In order to build and install in the default prefix ~/local.rtaproto2 just use:

	./install

To set a different prefix you can do:

    ./install -p <install-prefix>

for more informations:
	./install --help

5. RUNNING PROGRAMS

In order to run the executables you need to add the <install-prefix> to your LD_LIBRARY_PATH:

    export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=<install-prefix>/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH

for Mac OS X the export is:

    export DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH=<install-prefix>/lib:$DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH

Eventually, to run executables you need just to go to the install prefix:

   cd <install-prefix>/bin
   ./alg1
