Release 1.4.0
This release addresses compatiblity with Alfresco Content Services 7.4 and 23.1. In order to support backwards compatiblity with earlier ACS versions, this module includes utiltities to handle the major API and library differences between the supported ACS versions. In this release, the following utilities / compatiblity features have been added via sub-modules and reflection-based conditionals:
- Java EE vs. Jakarta Servlet API compatiblity for Share fixes/patches
- Java EE vs. Jakarta Mail API compatibility for enhanced Repository email action
- Subetah 3 vs. Subetha 6 library compatibility for enhanced Repository email server functionalities
- Content Transformer / Rendition Service / Thumbnail Service utilities to bridge ACS 6.0 - 7.4 API differences arising from the incremental rollout of the RenditionService2 transformers and subsequent removal of legacy transformer APIs
Future additions / enhancements to the Java EE / Jakarta Servlet API compatibility utilities are expected to address additional bridging needs as additional, more complex Acosix modules are adapted to support ACS 23.1, such as the Keycloak module.
