Welcome to the IPL Data Analysis Project! This repository contains the analysis and insights derived from three years of IPL data spanning from 2021 to 2023. Leveraging Power BI, we have meticulously analyzed player and team performance to uncover trends, make predictions, and provide valuable insights for cricket enthusiasts, analysts, and teams.

Primary Insights

1. Top 10 Batsmen by Total Runs: Identifies the top 10 batsmen based on total runs scored over the past three years.
2. Top 10 Batsmen by Batting Average: Highlights the top 10 batsmen based on batting average, considering a minimum of 60 balls faced in each season.
3. Top 10 Batsmen by Strike Rate: Reveals the top 10 batsmen based on strike rate, with a minimum of 60 balls faced in each season.
4. Top 10 Bowlers by Total Wickets: Displays the top 10 bowlers based on total wickets taken over the past three years.
5. Top 10 Bowlers by Bowling Average: Lists the top 10 bowlers based on bowling average, considering a minimum of 60 balls bowled in each season.
6. Top 10 Bowlers by Economy Rate: Illustrates the top 10 bowlers based on economy rate, with a minimum of 60 balls bowled in each season.
7. Top 5 Batsmen by Boundary Percentage: Identifies the top 5 batsmen based on boundary percentage (fours and sixes) over the past three years.
8. Top 5 Bowlers by Dot Ball Percentage: Highlights the top 5 bowlers based on dot ball percentage over the past three years.
9. Top 4 Teams by Winning Percentage: Lists the top 4 teams based on winning percentage over the past three years.
10. Top 2 Teams by Wins Chasing Targets: Identifies the top 2 teams with the highest number of wins achieved by chasing targets over the past three years.

Secondary Insights

1. Orange and Purple Cap Player Prediction: Predicts the players likely to win the Orange and Purple Caps in the 2024 season based on available data and additional research.
2. Top 4 Qualifying Teams Prediction: Predicts the top 4 teams likely to qualify for the playoffs in the 2024 season.
3. Winner and Runner-up Prediction: Predicts the winner and runner-up of the IPL 2024 season.
4. Best 11 Players Selection: Selects the best 11 players for a team based on their positions, three years' performance data, and additional research.
5. Top 3 All-rounders Selection: Selects the top 3 all-rounders based on their performance and contributions to the team.

How to Use

1. Download the IPL_Data_Analysis.pbix file.
