Studies
Welcome to the BingSubjects wiki!
Studies Page is where you'll create, update, and delete all studies.
In order to create new study click on the "Create Study" button and fill out the necessary information. Once created the study will appear in the table.
To delete any study from the table first select it than click the "Delete Study" button.
At the Info tab you can view all the information about the study you inputted when you first created the study.
To update any information click the "Edit Info" button, make the necessary update(s), and click the green "Save" button at the bottom. Or, if you do not want to save your changes, click the red "Cancel" button.
In the Data Types tab we are able to add, update, and delete and data types connected with the study.
In order to add a new data type click on the "Add Data Type" button and fill out the necessary information. Once created the data type will appear in the table.
Before adding a new Data Type to a study you must first add that Data Type to the application under the Data Types Page. Please refer to Data Types Wiki page for more information.
Once the data type is in the table it can be removed by selected it with the boxes on the lefthand side and clicked the "Remove Data Type" button.
You can update the description of a data type by selecting it and using the "Update Data Type" button. Once you make the necessary update be sure to click the green "Save" button to save your changes.
In the Participants tab we are able to manage all the study participants.
You can add a new participant to the study by clicking on the "Add Participant" button and selecting the correct participant either by using the drop down menu on the right or by searching for them by name. Click the green "Save" button when done.
You can remove participants from the study by selecting them and clicking on the "Remove Participant" button.
In the Users tab we can manage all the study users. We can add and remove users, as well as update a users permissions. A user may have permissions as a "Viewer" or as a "Manager". To manage study users -> Manager or View
When adding a new user select the permission "Type", either Manager or Viewer, and then select the user either by using the drop down menu on the right or by searching for them by name. Click the green "Save" button when done.
To delete a user simply select the user with the boxes on the right of the table and click the "Remove User" button.
In order to update a user's permissions between "Viewer" and "Manager" select the user and then click the blue "Update User Permissions" button. Then change the permission type and click "Save". You can only update the permissions of one user at a time.
