Catroid, also known as Pocket Code, is an on-device visual programming system for Android devices.
Catrobat is a visual programming language and a set of creativity tools for smartphones, tablets, and mobile browsers. Catrobat programs can be written by using the Catroid programming system on Android phones and tablets.

The HTML5 Player (this project) is a single-page html + javascript client using a restful PHP backend. It allows users to run catrobat projects inside of their desktop or mobile browsers without installing our app.
To get ready for development quickly you should start by following some simple instructions:
- git clone <repository>
- get to know the code by exploring all the files of the project carefully
- debug the code by setting some breakpoints at some interesting positions (e.g. Client/pocketCode/scripts/compontents/gameEngine.js)
- use remote debugging to debug the player on your mobile device (e.g. Google Chrome)
