With regards to the broader community, i.e., departments within the corresponding institute, a portal including the portfolio of services and training materials around best RSE practices, would be ideal.
This in fact could be one of the initial infrastructure tasks carried out by the second RSE previously described (see \autoref{sec:creation_of_dep}). To communicate and advertise the portal within the center, the corresponding admins for internal communication (the people responsible for intranet news for instance) should be involved in this process. |

I would call it "internal news", not "intranet news".

For communication among RSEs, some options include messaging channels (for quick communication) and forums or wikis integrated to developer platforms to have longer discussion while keeping track of the conversation, e.g., via issues.

I am not sure I like the term "portal" here. To me, that is an "interactive web service providing some functionality". I disagree that, besides possibly an own web page, an RSE group should in all cases have a separate "portal". In some cases, maybe even often, it would be better to integrate in already existing and used infrastructure to be visible there. I also tend to be very careful with the word "ideal" personally.
I am not really sure what you wanted to say here: we should quickly discuss this in a call.

Chilipp#2 should resolve the conflicts |
@ljgarcia and I worked on the section of internal communication on the department (and made some minor fixes in the Creation section (that was formerly called Installation). Please have a look at it @dokempf et al.
We where editing the file collaboratively on overleaf. If someone wants to get access to the document there to edit it, please let me know and send me your mail via rocketchat or matrix.
