Facebook Timeline Scraper

Scrape the facebook timeline to a sql database.

Installation

1.Get Python (recommended Python 3.7+)

2.Download Chromedriver

- Choose the latest stable version (must match the installed version of google chrome)

- Download the correct version for your OS

    - For windows, use 32bit version

3.Clone or download this repository

git clone https://github.com/DragonHeart69/Facebook-Scraper.git

4.Install the Python requirements

pip install -r requirements.txt

5. Rename settings.ini.example to settings.ini

Edit the settings in this file

6. Run the Python script

python facebook_scraper.py

6a. For the Windows users:

You can double click on the ```Screenless.vbs``` for run the script without command prompt

7. Take a cup of coffee and lean back
