Following the Rails API Documentation Guidelines, where applicable, makes for good writing as well. Active voice, brevity, and clarity are as important as content. If there is code inline make sure your gist is of the correct language type so that syntax highlighting makes the most of your contribution.

Site is deployed to Github pages. Simply run:
rake gen_deploy
rake generate # Generates posts and pages into the public directory
rake watch # Watches source/ and sass/ for changes and regenerates
rake preview # Watches, and mounts a webserver at http://localhost:4000
rake gen_deploy # Generates and then deploys to github pages
rake new_post["title"]
# creates /source/_posts/title.markdown
rake new_page[content/foo.markdown]
# creates /source/content/foo.markdown
