Software download links

Windows

In case you do not already have some Python distribution installed, we recommend the Anaconda Python distribution with Python 3.5.

Mac

In case you do not already have some Python distribution installed, we recommend the Anaconda Python Distribution with Python 3.5.

Linux

  4. Almost all Linux distributions include a simple graphical text editor such as gedit or Kate, or console editors such as GNU nano, GNU emacs or vi.

Python should be installed by default for most Linux distributions, including the NumPy and matplotlib libraries. If your Linux machine does not have these libraries, you might try installing the Anaconda Python distribution with Python 3.5.
