This readme file provides information on data sets and access to IPEDS data sets

This project seeks to review the different student demographic populations at different kinds of higher education institutions. The Data provided and analyzed examines the relationships between white student populations at publicly controlled 2 year colleges, privately controlled 2 year colleges, and Black student populations at publicly controlled 2 year colleges, privately controlled 2 year colleges.

The layout of the repository is as follows:

• Data folder holds IPEDS data sets that are merged.
• Figures folder holds the visualizations made from the specific variables examined
• Tables folder holds rtf files for variable descriptions, descriptive stats, and regression estimates
