It's a production ready NPM+Webpack automation and module bundler focused in multipage Bootstrap 4 and Fontawsome static web pages. It supports ES6 Syntax, SCSS to css comiling, Automatic bundling of css/js and images and multiple html files each with separate set of assets.
The main target audience for this project are Designers and Frontend Developers, but people trying to figure out Webpack can also benefit from reading the config files. Specially those who want to update their existing workflow from gulp or grunt and want to use latest features of javascript plus webpack. This is also a good start for those who are doing PSD to HTML.
- Support for each page to load only the resources required by that page e.g. css, images and js resources (css and js minified)
- Supports ES6 features and transpiles js to browser understandable js
- Converts images that are less than 8kb to base64 and embeds them directly in the html instead of putting them in the images folder.
Most of the boilerplates available out there are kind of minimal --- for education purposes --- or SPA driven --- useful when dealing with desktop/mobile applications, web apps, promotional/landing pages, utility pages etc ---, but Internet is a very diverse environment where some kinds of software should be designed as MPAs which are good at crawlability (SEO), security, speed, cacheability, extensibility etc.
