I'm a long term user of the Portable version of Profilist.

A wonderful add-on.

I assume that its stopped working in Quantum because the architecture doesn't allow it to work?

FYI, I'm still on Firefox ESR 52 precisely because I want to keep such great add-ons going on as long as possible. I'm hoping that there may be a way that emerges over the next few months that Profilist might go Quantum?

Firefox Quantum does support multiple instances.

I just see NO add-ons now that support launching them from WITHIN a Firefox instance.

Whether you go on or whether you have to give up--I do want to say THANK-YOU. You made my life easier for a long time (about 3 years) already.

Best wishes
Josiah

Thank you Josiah so so much!!!! I know kept you hanging on customizing profilist portable for a long time. I seriously super appreicate your note and bearing with me for so long! The new webext api does not allow file access which is the basis for profile management. :(

I want to make another one, probably using native messaging, so this is a open todo. But right now I'm at a stage where I need to work, I'm trying a bunch of business ideas. Hopefully when one of those click that will open up time for me to spend on some free stuff again. :)

Super sincerest gratitude my friend!
