So it's been a while, sorry about that!

So there have been A LOT of changes since version 2.1, i'm trying to remember them all... I may forget one or two changes, infact 11,711 lines of code changed and 2,396 lines removed.

Now there was a lot of work moving Ombi away slightly from Plex so we could also integrate with Emby, I mean a lot of work. I just want to say a massive thank you to the Emby guys for being extremely helpful and patient with me!

Also I'd like to thank everyone for their testing and details bug reports! (Also thanks to the bot for closing the less detailed bug reports).

New Features:

  • Added support and functionality for Emby, we are no longer a Plex only product #435
  • Reworked how the Newsletter works
    • So now (for Plex) instead of calling the Plex Api to get the recently added we will generate our own list of recently added items. This improved the functionality of the news letter and stops us from showing duplicate content. So now when we detect new content (since Ombi keeps a local cache of what is on the media server) when the newsletter runs we will add it to the email and then mark that media item as sent so we do not send it again.
