The System Information tool provides an overview of all configured alfresco-global.properties settings, Java Virtual Machine properites, as well as system and environment properties.

System Information tool

Each of the lists of settings / properties supports searching for substrings in keys and values, as well as sorting on one of the columns. The settings displayed as configured alfresco-global.properties is the aggregated set of properties taken from

  • repository.properties
  • domain/transaction.properties
  • caches.properties
  • enterprise/caches.properties
  • enterprise/repository.properties
  • module/*/alfresco-global.properties
  • alfresco-global.properties

Except for the last two listed properties-files, these are all default configuration files bundled within the Alfresco JARs. A value of listed settings will be automatically anonymised as a collection of asterisks when the name of the setting ends in a suffix considered to refer to "sensitive" settings. By default the suffixes "api.key" and "password" are considered to determine such sensitive settings. The list of suffixes can be overriden by setting the property "support-tools.systeminformation.sensitiveKeys" in alfresco-global.properties to the comma-separated list of suffixes.
