Be Emotional

Be emotional is a Web App built to perform real time emotion detection on live camera feed. I have implemented a Convolutional Neural Network and trained the network on fer2013 dataset hosted by Kaggle. Detects upto 7 emotions for all identified faces in frame ['happy','neutral','fear','suprise','sad','disgust','anger']. Achieved 65%(top 10 percentile accuracy) on validation dataset . Then the saved model was used to perform emotion detection from webcamera input using OpenCV.

How to use it

1. Clone the github repo and cd into it

    git clone https://github.com/RAHUL-KAD/Be-emotional.git
    cd Be-emotional
   

2. Build a docker image (assuming you have docker installed)

    docker build -t be-emotional .
   

3. Run docker image

    docker run -it --rm -p 8100:80 be-emotional
   

   We need to access your camera, in linux docker image doesn't have access to it. So using --device /dev/video0 we can give access to video in docker.

     docker run -it --rm --device /dev/video0 -p 8100:80 be-emotional
