This repository creates virtual machine instances on Google Cloud Platform. The python script create_VM_instance_Master_Node.py creates a VM Instance which can act as a Master Node(or Contral Panel) for Kubernetes. Similarly, the python script create_VM_instance_Worker_Node.py creates VM instance which acts as a worker node for the Kubernetes. The shell script startup_intance.sh exectutes all the commands on the created VM Instance and thus installs git, python3(along with it's supporting libraries), docker and kubernetes on the both master and worker node. The shell script upload_application.sh uploads application repo present on the local device to the VM instance running on google cloud.
When a fresh VM instance is a created, the enviornment variables need to be set. Hence, for that export_commands.sh file is uploaded to the virtual machine instance using upload_export_files_to_gcp.sh file. When the VM instance is created, execute command source export_commands.sh and exit it. Restart the same VM, now all the environment variables are set.
